Shiatsu Regulatory Group SRG

The Zen Shiatsu Society and other shiatsu organisations including the Shiatsu Schools Forum constitute the Shiatsu Regulatory Group (SRG), sponsored by the Prince of Wales Federation for Integrated Health, working towards compliance with and anticipation of government legislation to regulate complementary therapies. The Zen School of Shiatsu is represented on the Shiatsu Schools Forum.  The Shiatsu Regulatory Group has taken over the role of the General Shiatsu Council.

Our Zen School Director and co-founder Kris Deva North is Vice-Chair of the SRG responsible for specialist shiatsu advice to the Lay Chair, Paul Nethercott.

At the meeting on 12th September the following statement was agreed; "“The SRG supports the principle, in the absence of a regulator, that all organisations\courses are equal. No one has the right to criticise or comment on other peoples practices or beliefs”.

Minutes of all SRG meetings are published below, the most recent first.
